General objective
Train researchers who are capable of designing and directing research projects and groups that address regional and national social problems.
Specific objectives
- Develop skills and competencies for the design, evaluation and conduction of social research projects.
- Generate in graduates the competencies for the training of human resources (researchers and evaluators) in the areas of Social Sciences.
- Train individuals capable of evaluating projects and strategies based on multidisciplinary social research, aimed at solving real problems in regional and national settings.
- Promote interdisciplinary research in the Social Sciences, establishing the bases for the effective, controlled and productive integration of the different areas of social knowledge.
- Train subjects capable of working, perfecting and evaluating multidisciplinary research projects in Social Sciences aimed at satisfying information demands.
- Promote interdisciplinary research in the Social Sciences, establishing the bases for its integration as complex knowledge, linking related areas such as those that are cultivated in the divisional environment.
