The Doctoral Program in Industrial Engineering and Management (DPMIEM) is directed to holders of a master’s degree, second cycle or equivalent, or those who have a scientific or professional curriculum recognized as relevant and appropriate, with a strong background in areas related to Industrial Engineering and Management (IEM) or other related areas. It intends to provide the knowledge, approaches and the maturity necessary for the production of scientific contributions relevant to the area of MIE, involving the analysis, design and control of integrated systems that support people, material flows and data / information in business processes 'intra' and 'inter' organizations. The curricular component courses aim to provide a set of skills related to the main techniques and tools of IEM.
